Little Colonel Playhouse Announces
Alternate Performance Venue for
Cliffhanger
Theatre was damaged in the storm of Jan. 29

The Little Colonel Playhouse's current production of Cliffhanger, which was to be presented at the playhouse this weekend, has been moved to the Anchorage Elementary School auditorium, 11400 Ridge Road, Anchorage, KY. Performances will be Saturday night at 8 p.m. and Sunday afternoon at 2:30 p.m. All tickets for this weekend's scheduled performances at the playhouse will be honored. Although there will be no Friday night performance, prior reservations for Friday night will be honored on either Saturday night or Sunday afternoon.

The Little Colonel Playhouse suffered significant storm damage on January 29, 2008. Since then, a temporary wall has been erected to cover the second story damage. An initial report from the structural engineer states that the building is sound and can be repaired. No date has yet been set for starting repair work. The theatre group continues to research alternate venues for its Children's Workshops and the upcoming production of The Odd Couple.

Grace Poganski, of the Little Colonel Players' Board of Directors, extends her thanks to all who have expressed their good wishes for the Playhouse's future reopening.
